Thursday Night Study

God Speaks

Throughout history, God has spoken to humans through a variety of people called prophets. About 2000 years ago, he sent his most complete message of all -- by coming directly to us as Jesus of Nazareth.  Jesus is our Lord and Savior, and he is the most direct way God makes himself known to us.

We can know Jesus by trusting him, and reading about him in the Bible. The Bible is God's inspired written message that points us to Jesus. When we read the Bible together, and talk about what God is saying, we become closer to him.
